Dear Members of Big City Revue,
On behalf of the board of directors and staff of St. Anthony Foundation I want to thank you for providing outstanding music and entertainment for our 60th Anniversary event on September 24, 2011.
What an incredible day it was! You really made our event a success with your amazing music! Our guests are still talking about it and raving about "that incredible band." Thank you for sharing your musical talents with us.
The rally and the BBQ and block party on Golden Gate Avenue were filled with hope and joy. Most importantly our guests felt like it was their celebration. In these times of hardship and uncertainty, it is so important to celebrate what is good about the Tenderloin and the city of San Francisco.
We had 250 people at the rally and an estimated 6,000-8,000 at the block party. With the assistance of 500 volunteers, we served 12.000 meals in four hours!
Thank you for taking the time to participate and to help make our celebration a huge success, and one that we'll remember fondly for a long time to come.

Good Morning!
Chaz, before the day gets away from me, I wanted to check in and say your concert was AMAZING!!! Honestly, after the Motown band the week before (which also tore the house down), I wondered if ANY band could follow in those footsteps...and you totally blew everyone away. What a fabulous mix of genres & styles — we’ve truly never had that type of range on our stage before. Obviously we’ve had traditional cover-bands...but as you know, they tend to play the same 50 songs that you hear at every wedding. It was such a blast to see the guy in the cowboy hat and his lady-friend two-stepping, and then the kids singing/dancing along to Beyonce, and a few Journey songs sprinkled in there (which sent Valerie into complete ecstasy). You have an incredible repertoire! And what a voice; can’t believe you were doing what you did after two nights in Monterey. Bless you for bringing your very best, and sharing it with our community. I heard nothing but absolutely rave reviews from everyone who was there...even from several of our older attendees, who tend to be more than a little curmudgeonly about some of our bands. Clearly they recognized quality when they saw it...!
Thank you so much for making us look great. That truly was one for the memory-books, and we were honored and delighted to have us with you. Should you ever need a reference for any future festivals, please don’t hesitate to give the producers my contact info, and I will sing your praises. And we would love to have you all back for a future gig. Honestly, we don’t hire the same bands two years in a row in most cases, as we get SO many demo packs every year, and we try to give everyone an equal shot (and once a band plays in LG, they’re usually pretty eager to return)...so please keep that in mind. But we’ll absolutely stay in touch, and hopefully you’ll keep us in mind for a future date as well. Also, I’ll be following you on your website to see where my husband and I can come and just relax and enjoy one of your shows. Hey, what an experience that would be...:-)
Please pass along my most sincere thanks to everyone. It was a huge blast having you as part of Music in the Park.
Warm regards,
Marianne

Hello. I saw a band at Harlows in Sacramento, and they were great! They did a tribute to the Carpenters,CloseTo You, and were more upbeat than i imagined, not to mention her sounding like Karen Carpenter.I could not get into your tribute pages today. do you book them? Thanks!

Wow, I just dropped in your site to hear your music and you guys and gals are the bomb. I loved all the songs you played. I called Club Max in San Jose, CA to see who was performing this weekend and it's you. I googled you and found your band that sounded Awesome! I need to put my dancing shoes on because I'll be dancing all night long. Can't wait to hear you in person.

Thanks so much Steve!
LOVETRAIN was such a hit! We had a great time with them and the event was a huge success! We had inspiring speakers motivate our crowd to take a stand against our current healthcare system and our 88 year old patients boogeying down with the band
Thanks again for being so great to work with!
Well wishes,
Meghan

We saw Joel on our cruise March 2011. He actually made a joke and gave my daughter his guitar pic after playing an awesome round of Eagles songs...When he gave her the pic, he told her to beware that women get pregnant after getting his guitar pics!! Low and behold, when we all came home from our cruise, she took a pregnancy test and it's POSITIVE!! No joke. My daughter & her husband are so excited...I told them they should name their baby Joel if it's a boy....

Hi Gig,
I wanted to pass on a note from our guest speaker on the morning of our second day. Thanks so much again for a great conference.
Sheri
I also would like you to pass on the fact that the audio visual group was the best I have seen. John Zambrano, and all the others were right on it. Paid attention, wanted to make it right, changed my slides in a moment's notice, had the song ready, picked up the cues to begin and end each time, kept checking the battery, went to extra effort to give me info on getting a good mike and battery pack like the ones they use. They are the best, and whoever chose them should know. Awesome.

I had to take a minute and write in about the great band Hip Service that played the wedding in Napa. As soon as they plugged in people were hitting the dance floor and the energy just kept building. The band members were friendly and created an atmosphere that made everybody comfortable getting up to dance and have fun. The musicians were terrific and the four singers were each excellent in their own right. We had a great time and I would recommend Hip Service to anyone looking for a band that you can rely on to deliver a great time. Thanks, Randy

Hi Jamie,
Hope you are well. I just wanted to extend a big THANK YOU to you and the band...
We absolutely LOVED them ~ they were AMAZING! Every song was better than the last and they got EVERYONE dancing, ALL night long! I've gotten numerous compliments on them and will HIGHLY recommend them to all my friends and family. THANK YOU!
AND, I wanted to ask you about all the photos online -- How/Where did you guys take these? I LOVE them! Is there any way we can get copies of these??
Seriously, these are some of the BEST photos I've seen (very few people took ANY at the wedding so I was SO excited to see these photos!!)
Thank you again for EVERYTHING

Hey Steve,
I just wanted to thank you so much for the great people you sent our way, along with yourself of course. You have been a great help and I will always pass your information along. Doug Pauly did a beautiful job. People loved him. Lovetrain of course was fantastic. The dance floor was never empty unless they weren't playing. I have had many phone calls complimenting the band and Doug. They all made Ashley and Josh's wedding a very special and memorable day. None of us will ever forget it. I even had a blast, danced way too much, I had blisters on the bottom of my feet. Thank you so very much you guys are awesome.
Thanks,
Janice
