  True Blue is the most exciting traditional band to come out of California in years. They've all known each other for decades, and played in various combinations, but never together in one band. The sound is fresh, yet steeped in the soul of Bill Monroe and the rhythmic feel of Flatt & Scruggs. True Blue is an example of what can happen when four people share a musical sensibility and joy in what they are doing.
