Bravo cosists of Doug Adamz with multi-instrumentalist Dan Hayes. Dan plays
banjo, mandolin, guitar and sings. Bravo performs regularly at Marin’s
showcase nightclub, Rancho Nicasio (in Yountville) and at the Pacific Blues
Cafe and at the Station House Cafe in Pt. Reyes. Bravo performs throughout
the Wine Country, Northern California, Reno and Lake Tahoe for private events
and public festivals.
In April of 2006, Doug performed for President George W. Bush at a private
home in Palo Alto for members of the Hoover Institution. Doug commented that
President Bush "...complimented our band and showed us a great deal of
respect." Doug Adamz & Bravo have performed hundreds of shows and have
opened for and performed with Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Lee, Dottie West, Ricky
Scaggs, Huey Lewis, The New Riders, Nick Gravenites, Joan Baez, Ramblin’Jack
Elliot and many other notable artists. During the Persian Gulf War, Bravo performed
two overseas tours for U.S. troops. Bravo provides a lively mix of country,
bluegrass, country rock and blues.
