?God bless the child, who has her own.? So, it is said. Tachina Danielle is truly a child with her own. Blessed with the gift of song, Tachina Danielle?s mission is to sing to the glory and honor of god. And at the same time, share the gift He has given her with the world by demonstrating her professionalism, style, and expertise by serving as a vocalist, composer, arranger, and director of music.
When Tachina Danielle was very young, she received a prophecy from an associate pastor at her church. It stated: ?As long as you stay in the will of God, God will supply your every need. You will never be successful at anything outside of His will.? With that in mind, Tachina Danielle went on to perform in a most exemplary and memorable fashion in several entertainment mediums that included church choirs, radio, musical theater, and television.
In January 1998, Tachina Danielle was unanimously named the winner of the Gospel Music Association?s West Coast Regional Competition in Los Angeles, CA and secured her place in the Nationwide Finals Competition in Nashville, Tennessee in April 1998. Additionally, Tachina Danielle has performed in a number of supporting roles for such noted artists as George Duke, Phillip Bailey, Michael Cooper, Kenny Lattimore, Chante Moore, the production team of Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, producer/songwriter extraordinaire Narada Michael Walden, Swing out Sister, D?Wayne Wiggins, Tony!Toni!Tone!, gospel recording group JC and the Boyz, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kenny Smith, BrotherRedge, Derrick Hall & Friends, Kim Burrell, Commisioned, Hezekiah Walker, John P. Kee, Yolanda Adams, and the nationwide production of ?A Good Man is Hard to Find.? Tachina Danielle also has to her credit, the personal invitation from the mayor of San Francisco, the Honorable Willie L. Brown Jr., to sing at his inauguration ceremonies in January 1996.
In April 2001, Tachina Danielle was unanimously named the winner of the Bay Area Gospel Academy Award?s Best Female Vocalist of the year. Also, she was chosen and appeared in the Gospel Roundup Magazine as the Top Breakout Artist in Northern California. Additionally, Tachina Danielle was hand-selected to perform before Nelson Mandela and many other high-ranking officials, at the Unity International?s AIDS Benefit Concert held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Tachina Danielle has completed her first solo CD release entitled ?Surrender? on which she has written the majority of the songs. She has a diverse selection of songs with the production team of Walter ?Jamie? Hawkins Jr. (former music director of Lauryn Hill) and Michael J. Witwer, as well as Raymond McKinley (former member of Patti Labelle Band).
Tachina Danielle now knows and understands what she has to do with her musical ministry. She has accepted her mission and through the will of God, her mission is not impossible.
