Persian born Faranak is one of those
oddities in the music industry.
A female composer/pianist who mixes the hypnotic rhythm of ancient Persia with
a devastatingly keen ear for Pop.
Combine that with a dynamic stage presence and gorgeous good looks and you
have the makings of a female Yanni..., only a far...far prettier one.
From what information we have gathered on Faranak,
she rarely performs in public, but is a sought out artist for both private concerts
for California's exclusive Wine events and as a songwriter with phenomenal songwriting
abilities.
Her newest effort entitled Swirl takes it's listener into a another world,
where the sound of lush piano meets Middle Eastern percussion , creating a blend
of music that mesmerizes the ear.
With vocal additions from industry heavyweights Lenny Williams and Syreeta,
Faranak has composed what is
