Formed in 1989, Motordude Zydeco plays the infectious dance music of the Creole people of Southwest Louisiana known as "zydeco". Utilizing the instrumentation of piano accordion, button accordion, fratoir (or rubboard), guitar, bass, and drums, Motordude Zydeco creates a distinctive yet roots-oriented music blending traditional zydeco with original songs and rhythm and blues. The group's irresistible rhythms are guaranteed to pack any dance floor.

| Highly Impressed & Will Book Again, March 2, 2006 |

We had MotorDude Zydeco play at our restaurant on Mardi Gras from 11 AM to 2 PM and they were fantastic.
When we first started looking they sent a very professional promotional package with CD, they took the time to visit our Restaurant, and had a written contract.
They arrived early, were dressed very professionally and played three complete sets of some fantastic Zydeco.
Since we are a small Restaurant, only three of the members were needed, no microphones and were acoustic.
We will definitely book them again.

| Caught the Dudes at the Spice Festival along Gourmet Ghetto in Berkeley. They tore the place up! At first I thought they were just gonna do Clifton covers (nothing wrong with that, of course) but then they started playing obscure tunes like Cookie & the Cupcakes "Matilda," and even "Bad Bad Whiskey." I live in New Orleans some parts of the year, and these guys are totally authentic. Fabulous piano accordian player; wish I'd caught his name. Next party I throw I'm hiring the Dudes! |
